About the ratingOur firm
Serving clients in DeKalb County and throughout Alabama.
Scruggs, Dodd & Brisendine, P.A. continues the general practice founded by William D. Scruggs, Jr., in 1968. Today, our attorneys represent individuals, families, and businesses from our office in Fort Payne.
Civil litigation is a central part of our practice. We also advise clients on business transactions, real estate closings and title matters, estate planning, and probate matters.
Every engagement begins with understanding the client’s circumstances and objectives. We examine the record, assess the legal issues, and prepare a course of action suited to the matter.
Our firm welcomes attorney referrals and opportunities to serve as co-counsel or local counsel. We work with other firms in complex commercial litigation, appeals, and other civil matters.
To discuss a potential engagement, call our office at (256) 845-5932.
