About H. Graham Dodd

H. Graham Dodd represents individuals and businesses in complex civil and commercial disputes. His practice includes banking and lender liability litigation, business ownership and fiduciary disputes, and contested trust and estate matters. He works on cases involving multiple parties, extensive documentary evidence, and interrelated financial transactions.

A substantial part of Graham’s work involves reconstructing events from financial records, contracts, and communications. He traces transactions, tests competing accounts against the documentary record, and develops the factual basis for claims and defenses. That investigation informs pleadings, discovery strategy, depositions, motion practice, and settlement negotiations.

His experience also includes work on significant business transactions and environmental litigation involving per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). His appellate practice includes briefing and applications for rehearing before the Alabama Supreme Court, including issues involving arbitration and appellate procedure.
